I think quite a few people will be surprised at how it will look like when it's done.
All I can say that even without paint it already looked very good. I hope it's done soon

Seats are embroidered. Only way with leather heat transfer is cool for clothing but not for leather seats.

As for the colour so far incredibly difficult to photograph. In the spray booth the light was so bright the panels where just reflecting the surroundings like a mirror. Then the lighting in the workshop plays havoc bringing out shades that I didn't know where there.

Hence waiting till car is finished flattened and polished and taken outside for pictures in normal daylight

Seats look great JP. Are they embroidered or is a heat print?
I almost want to drive the 2 hours down to Luton just to see what colour you've chosen

Significantly more than that as there has been a lot of custom work/fabrication done (all will be revealef when finished). But as a guideline a full strip down glass out colour change excl engine bay is in the 5k region which I think is cheap for the level of work. Most of the top guys in the UK wont let you see change out of 8k for that type of work.

    Hth.

Well The car is now in the final stage of paint and for the first time I've seen some of the parts in my chosen colour. Have to say well chuffed with how it's all starting to look and couldn't praise Ish and the boys at Quattro Coachworks enough. I feel like a little kid at christmas, only issue is I'm going to be afraid to drive it once finished it looks so good

I'm still going to refrain from posting public pics of the car itself until the whole thing is finished but as a little teaser these are the front seats all done ready to bolt in

I've noticed that most airfilters cause a restriction with big power figures unfortunatelly space constraints mean that I dont have a lot of choice in the matter. I know that it supports 750hp and not intending to run anything other than vpower so it's well within the limit of the filter even if at the cost of 10-15hp.

JP mind that the airfilter you run was VERY restricting in my car. Don't know if you compared with / without on the dyno.

Yes I'm swaying towards that one too, just need to see them side by side in real life to confirm

As for my mate that's what happens when you drive a company car and your other one is a 750hp mk2 golf
