Well I've been taking lots of pics but not going to release anything yet till the car goes back together as I feel it will spoil the impact. The shell and panels are now in their final stages of paint. So confirming the choice of colour later this week and then there is no going back. (gulp)

Just working on the front custom seatframes at the moment to allow the new seats to go in and then it's sit back and wait till re-assembly. Unfortunately looks like I'll be waiting till spring to drive it if the weather carries on like this as really don't fancy messing up the fresh paintwork once done on gritted roads.

Exactly where it ends on the pic right under the car. Trying to keep it low key until foot to the floor.

Are you exiting the screamer pipe under the car or at the side?

Got a little more done on the exhaust side of things.

Decided to run an independant exhaust and wastegate so I could retain the 3" downpipe for improved mid range response compared to a larger downpipe whilst still having flow almost equivalent of a 4" system at WOT. The theory is all sound on paper hopefully the results will be as desired.

Where is your maf mate? Or will you use standalone ecu?

Thankyou, at the moment without mapping and just doing a couple of passes with a 44mm wastegate boost set to 1.3bar on the spring the turbo hit 1.7/1.8 bar before 5000rpm from creep with wastegate fully open so I'm hoping once mapped and regulated with the new 60mm peak boost on my cam config will be around 4500.

Well a little update finally gotten round to fitting new dampers. Happy with how the car sits with the shortened struts along with the amount of travel it now has. As the shorter struts have allowed me to move the helper springs to the bottom where they should be giving me an extra 1.5" of travel. Pics however will have to wait as bodywork is secret till finished.

On the wastegate front finally got round to fitting the 60mm, combination of time and my welder being on holiday meant I only just got round to it.

Tight squeeze on the turbo side but wanted to keep it as far away from the rocket cover as poss to get the best angle for the seperate exhaust it'll run. Just waiting on the bends to arrive and fabrication can begin.

Wow, I need to get on the s2 forums more often! Awesome execution!

I can't wait to see how the 2.5L long rod motor responds to the HTA3586r! With the new intake manifold, this setup will be very similar to my URQ's.

Thanks for taking the time to document the build!
