Linex now applied in body colour. Now building up suspension to make it easier to roll around prior to paint. Recreation SQ wishbones, hubs refurbed with new bearings, KW suspension from DNA, subframes stripped, galvanised and repainted. We'll be using S2 rear brakes which are good enough but are going for Porsche fronts mounted on custom carriers. Starting to feel quiet excited!Attached Files- 12308730_1059861704032357_897101234595837503_n.jpg (77.8 KB, 258 views)

Anyone know where I can get a pair of refurbished front callipers from an early boxter - ideally in red?
The part numbers 986.351.421 and 986.351.422.
I want to fit a pair of decent brakes to the SQ that I'm building and with 15" wheels my options are a bit limited.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Cheers.
Clive

Too right Hamish although it will be a while yet. In the meantime I really must come up and pay you a visit to see your cars first hand. Maybe when it's a bit dryer after Christmas. Better still why not bring one to one of the Hillclimbs down here - I live at the top of Shelsley Walsh and both Loton Park and Prescott are relatively close by. A class B speed license is all you need and is easy to get - be great to see you/it in action. Messrs Harriman and Edwards need someone to keep them honest 😉. Hope you haven't been hit too hard by all the crap weather up your way. Done any more on yours of late? All the best. Clive.Last edited by Clive A; 10 December 2015, 23:58.

Roof now bonded on and standing on its own re-manufactured wheels with new tyres. Wings to bond next and then some Alpine white paint for the panels. Brian and Tom don't hang around once they are on a roll!Attached Files- 12375944_10153379438408520_713631723_o.jpg (83.1 KB, 178 views)

Refurbished 986 Boxter front calipers painted red ready to fit to front. Requires an adapter bracket but will fit inside 15" wheels. Refurbished stock S2 calipers will be fine for rears.Attached Files
