    There is also a Red 12v Constant power wire for the ECU, obviously that goes to power, SHould i hook that and the Fuel pump relay directy to slots on the L30 of the Fuse panel underside? or does that constant power need to be behind a fuse?

      This is the type of answer i'm looking for, not about the 1.8t stuff, but more about the fuse panel currently in the car. I'm looking for answers to these pins:

        sooo it looks like:

        1=15A=Not used
        2=15A=Reverse Light Switch
        3=50A=Starter Solenoid
        4=53C= Windshield washer pump
        5=87f=OBX Heater/ CIS ECU
        6=1=Ignition coil
        7=15=Ignition Coil
        8=8 (B) (S?)=

          BS = B plug S pin = Signal for fuel pump relay from ECU to turn it on.
          6=1=Ignition coil = the same

          ^^ one of them is connected to your used FPR smallest pin.

            Did a bit of work, more cleaning and getting things prepped under the hood. I found out the donor car actually has a k04 turbo which is a nice surprise

            And i found out that the ac stuff should line up very very well.

            stock b5 a4 lines to the 90 ac bits

                  I struggle to understand wiring diagrams!

                  How easy is it to swap a 6A/ACE 16v for a 1.8T engine in a coupe?

                    I used ADR engine mounts from a 97 Audi Cabriolet. Both Sides. My car came with the V6 engine which has the motor mounts bolted on to the frame rail through the wheel wells. Inline 5 cars where the mounts are welded to the frame rail need different mounts.

                      You would be doing the same thing i'm doing. You would need different engine mounts, IIRC one of your mounts would work fine, and the other one you need is from the same ADR engine i took mine from.

                          Looks like i did an okay job with it.

                            I think the one that you have labelled with the red "X" is an alignment dowel and was never intended to have a bolt through it. If you have other bolts that line up and the dowel does not line up because of the engine/trans swap, then the solution is to remove/cut-off the alignment dowel. This is common for swaps of 2.7tt 01E 6 spds into C4 UrS4/S6s.
