Seems like everyone is building an exhaust at the moment. Hopefully someone out there won't be as I will have a full cat back miltek with cat bypass pipes for sale soon.

Nearly finished the exhaust now, been doing it in the evenings after work so pretty limited on the number of hours. The only bit left to do now is the tailpipe exit. There are a few joins to weld up and we need to make some brackets to hang it.

The Wagner EM is off being ceramic coated and the downpipe will get wrapped.

Hopefully the car will be home on the weekend and the EM should be ready early next week. Then the rebuild can get started properly.

Just need my ally rad to clear customs now.

Been a busy couple of weeks. One thing I can say is there are so many bolts that are difficult to get to. Had so much fun getting everything on.

              Downpipe, now wrapped too.

              More weld.

Wagner EM with black ceramic coating.

New big ally rad. Aux rad deleted.

S2 found a 90s friend outside the workshop.

Turbo in. Really need smaller hands. Only cut two spanners down

Black painted, crackle vht. Rousse motorsport hoses and carbon covers.

Now she is ready for uncle Doug at MRC to finish off and map. Still smokes a bit so let's hope it's nothing serious.

I'd like to take credit for the welding but I can't. I did a lot of tube cutting and holding stuff but mate did the welding.

Company called performance first coatings in Didcot did the ceramic coating. Car has run up to temp twice and so far it all seems fine.

So. Almost the final chapter for this thread.

Unfortunately when it all went back together the car still smoked heavily. I took the car to MRC for the mapping as planned but it couldn't be done as there was too much oil coming out.

Some investigation later from MRC and it was clear the turbo was letting oil go down the exhaust, so off it came. Once rebuilt and put back together it was mapped.

                          414bhp and 607nm

Really chuffed with it. Exhaust sounds ace and it pulls like a train.

Next up is paint work. Thanks to all who helped it to get here.

Have you got a higher res pic of the dyno chart? I can't read the numbers.
