What i find strange is the way it died. I was going up hill and saw that it's boosting, but had no power, revs slowely dropped and 3 4 5 cylinders stopped working. There was no juddering, no misfires.

Is there anything between ECU and POS, or ECU connects to POS straight away, in that case...could be ECU, because it's not POS.

I've been telling myself oh after this it'll be fine...but i am genuinely scared to drive it to Leeds as there is a high chance of it breaking down. And that isn't normal imho. Fair enough if the fixes would be couple of quid and 20 minute job but they are all ****ing expensive and long.

Thats a shame i thought you had found the problem ie pos. The A8 is a beautiful car and as you say cheap as peanuts.I would like one myself but have too many cars as it is. I do hope you can get something sorted though.

Oh no i did get them thanks to Newsh, but that would've been too easy of a fix for me.

Brilliant, have to go to uni in 2 days, and this piece of **** is not even running, and i have no idea what's wrong with it. It doesn't start, or when in does start it runs on 2 cyl.

Exactly what i thought, should get POS tomorrow, and then I'll see what's what.

It says N122 controls 1 2 3 and N127 controls 4 5. but on mine, 1 and 2 is running, 3 4 5 isn't.

First cylinder is closer to the front right?

Does that not sound like they were already swapped then?

Yup

cylinder 1 at the front, radiator end

cylinder 5 at the back, firewall end.
