Is S4 really that bad on fuel on motorway run? It is 6 speed too. I remember doing 35/38 mpg on my V6.

I didn't notice needle moving in my A100, on theory it shouldn't move as it works on resistance.

The way i was driving, i am surprised i got 28, and my car is properly loaded, rear of the car is as low as it can go really.

My gauge goes up when I stick my foot down, and down when I brake for extended periods... quite annoying cos it makes you think driving fast is good for your fuel consumption

28MPG -you must be quite pleased with that in all honesty?

I did 200 miles and it shows less than half a tank, i will swap A100 gauge and hope it fixes it

Hi AndyD, I'm not sure, it could of been but I seem to remember it was more to do with the gauge rater than auto check. Something about lining the needle up with the 2 dots just above the empty mark.

Pumps are exactly the same and the fixing are too. What it was when the timing sprocket went my dad took out the pump. And when putting it back in the floaty thing got stuck. Because when i took it out and put back together it immediately showed empty tank.

Also my bet is on faulty gauge because i was going through long right hand corner and the needle moved to almost half a tank.

Also are you sure the pump is the same depth as the one you took out and is it fully seated in the basket?

    ?

Is this the info you had seen?
