It sounded like when you said it died, an electrical fault or what you said earlier fuel. It cannot be Coils plugs and pos as it's impossible for these parts 5 coils 5 plugs and 2 pos to simultaneously fail together. It might be worth checking the Ecu as that's all i can think of mate. -
Starts-not suprising. Cyl 5 isn't working, but I'll see if pos change does the jobLeave a comment:

but it is quite funny tho. Did 140 mile drive yesterday to get coils, and got 2 POS too.

Janis..... the car can be very reliable and go as far as you want without breaking down as long as it has fuel to burn.I've been telling myself oh after this it'll be fine...but i am genuinely scared to drive it to Leeds as there is a high chance of it breaking down. And that isn't normal imho. Fair enough if the fixes would be couple of quid and 20 minute job but they are all ****ing expensive and long.
Get yourself and the URS4 down to ADI will be good to have a laugh and a joke.
Is it running now??Leave a comment:

I've now swapped the float thing that's in the tank from A100, as that seemed to have better resistance, on s5 one there were spikes in resistance. If that doesn't fix it, I'll have to swap fuel gauge from my A100 speedo.Leave a comment:

Cmon guys, how was i suppose to know?
I start to rethink the idea of going to ADI now, everyone will be taking the mick out of me.

Have to say these I5's do run a bit odd when low on fuel, thought I had major problems when I was tinkering last winter, eventually I worked out it could actually be low on fuel... and once air gets sucked in it takes a while to shift
