TPS is the parts company used by VW, Audi & others - you can buy without an account though. Their should be a local one near you - at or close to the dealer usually.
Take your time and inspect all carefully... you confused me when you said the cam was aligned and the crank was not - lol - they are out of alignment... just hope you haven't bashed valves etc.
Check that crank pulley super well and replace it if you have any doubts... I would replace the relay roller/pulley on the belt tensioner bracket as well for good measure along with the bottom bolt.
PS - http://www.s2forum.com/forum/attachm...0&d=1276876987 - that shows the alignment of the three crucial sensors.
G4 - crank position pulse in blue
G28 - flywheel teeth in yellow (engine rpm)
G40 - camshaft position sensor in green - it is active low for 16 flywheel teeth every TWO crankshaft rotations
Note how G4 arrives in the middle of G40 pulse - when you see this you know that things are aligned properly.Paul Nugent

I didn't hear any BANGS so hope all 20 valves are fine
Do I have to be a company of some sort to buy from them? Or I can just call them up and see if they have them?'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

If all else fails - TPS can generally order anything in... can take a few days if its coming from Germany though, but usually next day if its sitting at Satan's lay-by (aka Milton Keynes).Paul Nugent

Just called up Audi, and they quoted me £34 for the pulley, and £23 for the bolt. Cheap as chips, but they said closes Audi that could have them is 2.5 hour drive from me
TPS said they don't carry either of the parts.Last edited by hunker7; 11 September 2014, 13:03.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

How do you know the timing belt kit was changed 10k ago? Was it the same person that skimped on the water pump, ****ed up timing it and tensioning it?
I would question the entire job, and do it again properly with good quality parts, if I was you

I have a receipt from a garage it was done in. I am sure water pump wasn't changed because then whole front has to come off. And you can see that the belt is new as well as tensioner. But i will check it once i take it off.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P
