Standart S8D2 brembos had 345x30 discs. 323x30 are A8D2 and S6+.
323x30 audi disk should fit like a glove on S2 front and clear with stock balljoint perfectly. Is it because of custom balljoints?
S8D2 radial brembos are very good calipers. They seem to be very underestimated IMHO. Most people are after cayenne/Touareg 6-pots or Boxter/911 monoblocks.

Sorry, yes you are right, these are genuine 964 Turbo electric seats.
Test fitted the brakes on the strut yesterday, to check the adaptors.
Currently working on the body panels... cutting, bonding, never ending story...Leave a comment:

also got new front seats... unusual setup for the project, but the seats are super comfortable and supporting.
oh and we have moved the workshop to the new premises finally. it's like working in heaven now.

Finally draw and manufactured brake brackets to match the brake discs.
below is the comparison original vs adjusted offset (-10mm)
will be selling original brackets at some point in time.Attached Files- image-0-02-05-c3bebee6bc289b8071e121728c7966ed5b14678fffce3e318d61d947316092fa-V.jpg (81.8 KB, 76 views)

Had an issue with my new brake set up, there wasn't enough room between the baljoint and the brake disk, ended up ordering custom two piece ones from BG Developments, great firm!
Now on two the alloys!

Is the turbo ok? No excess movement?

Hey Nick, before drain tube had 21mm Inner diameter but fittings were only 14mm, now we have re-done fittings to 20mm ID.
On cold start the oil feed pressure shows 6bar. Feeding tube and fittings are 9.5mm ID.
Interestingly enough the oil accumulates after we stop the engine...Leave a comment:

did you check the return flow on the engineblock?what i mean is can the oil flow easy back in to the sump without restriction
also how is your crankcase ventilation? maybe the pressure is to high in the sump?
otherwise i woud try a smaller hose on the oil feed side or a restrictor but i dont know how big it needs to be.non ballbearing turbo right?Leave a comment:

Right, increased the drain lines to 20-21mm all the way, but still there is a bit of oil in the compressor side... at start the oil pressure gauge is showing 6bar and I'm running 9.5mm feed, maybe reducing it to smaller ID will help to reduce the oil pressure, what are your thoughts guys?Attached Files- image-e8c3777338b7036d963b0f8e37035a9b9d87001f5aa5cca46112960b4651cb7a-V.jpg (227.5 KB, 121 views)
