Yes Des, I had Holset manual, but short one with out check fault table. it seems the problem could be in the drain pipe... the pipe ID is fine 21-22mm, but fitting both ends is only 14.5mm. will try and drill it to bigger diameter.

Your return line size should be fine at 19mm but 9.5mm feed is quite large. Maybe with this large line a restrictor might be required. I'm sure holset have a pdf with this info...

cheers Des, and any ideas what lines diameters are we good to use? I have at the minute 9.5mm inlet, and 19mm drain, oil is feeding from the engine and 6bar oil pressure is too much for idle

I don't think those big non ball bearing Turbos need or require a restrictor.

Question to Holset owners, do I need an oil restrictor? mine is Super hx35 if it makes any difference...

I have a bare shell, luckily the original loom hasn't been thrown away years ago, thank god managed to find it ( it's a mess).

is there a wiring diagram for this re-pining?

Sorry guys, when it comes to wires I am a complete dummy

Sounds like you have removed a bit to much wiring from the car maybe?
There is no connectors that go to the ignition-switch in the 20vt Engine-loom.

In my cq, with 20vt loom, all the wires connect directly to the main fusebox ("CEP"?) and the original Car-wiring takes care of the connection between ignition-switch and the main fusebox.

Note that i also left the original wiring for power-supply to and from generator and starter to main fusebox, thus leading to that i had to swap 2 pins (3 wires?) over from the original black "B"-plug over to the 20vt-looms black "B"-plug when connecting that to the fusebox to get current to the starter.

thanks mate, hope they will stop the car nicely as well.

Just re-read my post above and think I have confused people...

My problem is I can't figure out how starter switch is connected to the main engine harness.
