these are standard S8 size. 323x30, bell hat -10mm from original to clear the ball joint and maybe to put a dust cover
Standart S8D2 brembos had 345x30 discs. 323x30 are A8D2 and S6+.
323x30 audi disk should fit like a glove on S2 front and clear with stock balljoint perfectly. Is it because of custom balljoints?
S8D2 radial brembos are very good calipers. They seem to be very underestimated IMHO. Most people are after cayenne/Touareg 6-pots or Boxter/911 monoblocks.

It fits if you are using standard ball joint. I have Sport Quattro wishbones and uniball balljoint from AK motorsport. So you can either skim the balljoint to clear the disk or do it like i did.
a small update:
Finally finished fitting and trimming rear body panels. The car is back in our garage to finish welding works before clean fit and bond the panels in place.
Wossner pistons bought and engine block got bored and honed to 81.5mm
completely stupid question, but can someone help me locating the right holes in the firewall to feed aby engine loom? the car is lhd. here is the pic of my firewall
On typ89/B3/B4 cars there are 2 big round holes of same diameter in the firewall near left strut tower. Upper is for left underbonnet harness, lower of is for Motorkabelbaum, but I have used the upper one: I believe it may be more convenient.
