This was directly off a 96 a6 with the 2.8. I think the last letter is P. Was very worn when I purchased it. Here is another

Just to be clear, LHD and RHD have different considerations for the vacuum conversion.
The RHD cars can only use the smaller diameter servo/booster due to proximity to the turret, so be sure you are buying the right parts.Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt

Dear friends.
After changing about 7 ( seven ) a8 d2 boosters i managed to solve the issue using the adapter received from Alex.
Very important : DO NOT USE OLD PUMPS / BOOSTERS ! If it has been stored outside or on a shelf somewhere its most likely going to fail ... if you buy a sh one make sure that is on the car and the pump has the reservoir attached and brake fluid into it otherwise you will have to change it again and again ....
I used A4 B7 booster and its pump. The result its amazing and i am very happy with it .
Shopping list :
- Alex ( Error404 ) kit for urS
- 8E0 612 105 N booster with pump
- brake lines from a4 B7 ( the angle of the brake pump is different than stock and these ones from b7 really look nice ).
- as much beer as possible :-)
Have a nice day
Marius
