The scary thing is, you are not the only one. Not by a longshot.
The 2.7 BiT crowd really loved using these plugs... until this started happening to them as well...

              why not?

i am still using them,,,,, playing the russian roulette as Dmitri says

maybe the problem comes if you overuse them?

or could happen since the first Km done?

if Audi uses them...they should be VERY GOOD for at least the 315Hp power of the RS2

Problem occurs on full boost and high RPM they start to missfire and worst think after that is to find part of the plug inside the block :

The quality control on some of these so called new parts is absolutely going to the dogs.

I was looking at a new oil pump today and the crank seal might has well been a bottle top off of a bottle of coke with a hole drilled in it, it would never hold oil..

Fortunately i had a good seal i could add, but at the prices you have to pay you should not have to suffer this cr@p...

Is it just me, but if the quality control is so bad with the F5DPORs then why would it be any different for any other Bosch plug? Should we all be buying NKGs??

This is a pretty known problem with this plug, at least in tuner circles, that use them.
Most of my friends who tune cars regularly have experienced this recently.

Due to this, everyone I know swapped to NGK.

This is not really up for debate - I personally know at least 3 engines ruined by this...
These plugs used to be great, until something changed a year or two ago.
