Boost stops at 1.4bar - N75?

Just did the output test...test. N75 clicked as it should.
Should i try putting the old one back, and see if that works?

Ummm...Yes.

You should have done that output test on the old N75 before you bought the new N75 and saved your dosh.

Haven't done boost leak test yet, will do when I get a spare minute.

Always start with a boost leak test. Get a bottle of soapy water and I bet you find bubbles galore

I didn't do boost test, because I thought car should judder and have sort of loss of power. That's what happened at around 4000rpm when 1.5 bar was reached, but after changing fuel lines it stopped.

Isn't 1.5 bar good boost, mines chipped and reaches around this, only got to 1.2 standard

That's gauge not absolute.

OK what does this mean and how is it tested

I use dashboard boost meter, and that includes atmospheric pressure of 1 bar, so whatever you see on the dash minus 1 bar is your absolute pressure.

So the type I have is a gauge type with vacuum feed T'd into the ECU is the reading on this correct when it reads 1.5 bar or should I minus 1 bar
