    How are you determining that?

One weird thing I noticed today is that the stock ecu under reads rpm by 100-150 rpm.

Not yet mate. It's going to the guy on the 23rd Feb. I'm just busy getting all the little jobs done on it I've been putting off. Plus today went on a 034 Motorsport 3" DP then on the 26th of this month the rest is being custom made by these people http://www.stainless-exhaust.com

If the load figure is effectively the amount of air in the cylinder, is it reading low due to the engine not having enough fuel rather than not sucking it in if you forgive my highly technical language. I don't suppose you looked at the load figure when you upped the fuel pressure to see if it increased or not.
Whilst I hope you get to the bottom of it, all the kit in the world might not necessarily solve the problem unless it is something that is capable of being measured.
Still fingers crossed and all that!
Upping the fuel pressure ABOVE what it should be made the AFR correct but the power was still way off! Thos is most likely more fuel being injected on the same incorrect open time dues to bad air measurement. The fuel pressure correlates perfectly with my mechanic gauge.

No. The load figure was the same on the higher pressure.

There isn't a great deal that can't be looked at by the equipment this guy has, a couple people on here tipped him as the best Motronic guy in the UK.

I found someone in the UK who I'd HIGHLY recommended for our cars. He's going to use the breakout box and an emulator on it and is convinced he will find the problem. Unfortunately due to his already massive workload he wishes to remain nameless but whatch this space for results.

Have you been able to arrange an appointment with Dimitri, (sorry if I've missed this).

He'll be be up for canonisation if it fixes this one in my mind.

    Thank you!

No, he's not coming over till spring now.

    So close yet so far

Plus. I'm not even looking into that until I've swapped my rattling flywheel so ruling that out. Plus it's p*****g me off anyway with the flywheel noise, noisey first gear and a clutch that requires two feet!

Plus, to further rule it out I'm going to treat myself to a decent one piece downpipe and do away with that stupid split system.

Yes it's fine, recently repaired infact. And reads ok on vag-com. I'm sure it's down to air/load measurement.
