Understood! So it would be (apart from the SW logistics) a VCDS type deal - interface and program.
To be honest I am surprised that people on here are not more interested. If it has the same functionally or better than say an SLC or Zeitronix especially as its been effectively developed on our platform.
That may be because like me they follow your developments with interest and awe and sit back waiting for the finalised products to be available. From your perspective this probably looks like a lack of interest! Its the same with the Maf conversion I guess.
Obviously without knowing the costs or the numbers you would need to make these developments financially viable its difficult to guage demand. I think the Forum is sometimes a little slow in showing enthuasium for innovative ideas.
One final question. Hypothetically, do you think the data logging capability would help members in cases like this over and above say VCDS?
That gets us back on thread!

Only go to 1 Bar because you're checking the MAF hose it'self and the PCV system and the crankcase which normally only sees vacuum.
Ok, that's my first job Monday morning then! If I find nothing then my next step is to take some data from running it on the stock ecu. If I take a vid of the live data on my phone, will this site support me loading the video as a post?

You are much better posting vid onto likes of YouTube then linking to that from here.

OK, just pressureised the system through the MAF hose as suggested. It wont reach 1 bar as its coming out from around the oil cap, basically filling the engine with air, although the car was cold.

Block of the pipe the to the pcv and the small hose to the wastegate then try.

Surely though that's then NOT testing the breather system?

Its the only way to find any major leaks Because as you say it wont hold enough pressure to test the inlet track. if you just want to test the pcv plumbing then the way you have done it is ok., but you need more pressure to check for boost leaks.

Yeh, nothing again! To double check, ill drive it with the breather hose in the intake hose blocked off, leaving it to atmosphere. Then its back to the stock ECU and take a video of the live data at WOT in third for you guys to look at!

The standard AAN exhaust manifold glows on mine, if properly pasted.

Fried, with standard intercooler, and red lines without fault.

Looking forward to seeing what it is.

In a tight car you can put say 1 bar in, come back after a minute or so and there will still be 0.5 bar or so in the intake.

Your AFR going from 10.9 to 12.5 means you fixed some massive boost leaks. It takes a lot of leakage to get that much more fuel. Essentially 20% of the air was leaking before.
If it's running 1.4 bar with 12.5-13 afr that means it's a bit lean really and if you hammer it, it gets very hot, starts knocking and then the ECU will pull timing.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but are you sure the map is good? Maybe try a different ECU with a different map on it and see if that cures your issue?
I am not back on the stock ECU with the 2.0 TFSI coil and the car, i'm afraid, is still just gutless, with no torque at all, just had it on a mild hill at 80 in 4th and it wouldn't accelerate at all! Totally sporadic how it feels but it mostly is pretty flat still 3,000 - 5,000 sometimes feeling as if the turbo is barely doing anything despite showing good pressure on both gauges. I'm convinced its the ECU pulling the timing back as this is exactly how it feels (lazy and lethargic!). I've tried ANOTHER MAF and its running the same again. I realise that many things can cause knocking to occur but what is most likely on an AAN and what would you test first?

A small leak on the vac/boost control line to the FPR would cause lean running on boost (or a bad FPR).

Loose knock sensors, they need to be torqued correctly.
