Meant to ask, what reducer temperature should I set for switch-over? And I assume I need some fuel in the tank at all times as fuel pump is working constantly?

Yes I keep at least quarter tank petrol for emergency and to keep the fuel pump happy. I have mine set at 40 deg c. Start of high and lower it in till it messes arround when too cold. Usually not a problem inn the summer.

I have mine on 20 at the moment and seems fine, might increase to 25, and then when it gets colder, increase it further.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

Just spoke to LPG guys and asked them about calibrating, and he straight away asked whether it's check engine light that comes on sometimes, and then said it's pretty much impossible to get these ECU's calibrated so it doesn't happen. Don't know how much truth is in that. But I'll have a chat with him when I go down.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

To any sane person that would throw up a number of red flags.Just spoke to LPG guys and asked them about calibrating, and he straight away asked whether it's check engine light that comes on sometimes, and then said it's pretty much impossible to get these ECU's calibrated so it doesn't happen. This means they are unable to set it up so that it runs the correct AFR.
On a turbo engine especially this can be disastrous.
Bet he doesn't know what a wideband is either.
It is fully possible to make these run without any check engine lights or any other issues.Comment

I agree. I ran Motronic and gas for years with no issues. Just needs tuned in better. To any sane person that would throw up a number of red flags.

As I said, he only said it about this specific ECU. He doesn't know what car I drive or anything. I will ask him more when I go down
I will get wideband as soon as I got some spare moneys, and then have another go at adjusting it.
Honestly, I'm glad he said it can't be done/he cannot do it, rather than charge me for nothing.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

Think there is a way of calibrating that. Also can try different sender types in the config.

What options were there? I think there are options for different ohm scales and from memory you could set at which value which light came on.
The gauges is only a guide and I use the trip computer to give me a better idea.

I loose about 10% on gas. So about 20 mpg on petrol and 17 or 18 on gas average.
I get much more on a long run but I can't stay out of booooost...
