  • Not even comparable ? Ok give me the papers on the diffrence LOL just kidding..

It all depends on what car you are building.. As i can se you are aiming pretty high with your project and doesnt compromise.. but theres ppl out here who are DIYíng stuff to get more performance for less money and work. And as a matter of fact there is homemade stuff that sometimes really is a success and some arent.. These diffrent strategies is whats make this fun :O)

I run KW-V3 Yellow springs dont remember stiffness.. factory default mode something..
It´s just a question of time..

        • With FARB in rear and KW V3 i have the problem with wheel in the air and no more acceleration in tight corners.
          Anybody else?

          • you need a plated diff or softer RARB and stiffer springs

            • I wanted to buy a Wavetrac diff, but they don't do one for S2 Coupe.
Has anyone good connections to Wavetrac for to make them build a rear diff for the Coupe? :-)

              • I would go for siffer springs att rear and soft in front.. and raise the car front and lower back

                  • What about a torsen rear diff? Theres one in the for sale section with all the bits to rebuild the coupe diff.

Sounds like the back is to stiff and the front too soft?

My car keeps all 4 on the road when tight cornering on the track, but if you get a 2nd gear corner, it will light up both inside wheels on boost quite easily, making it difficult to get the power down for exit.

                      • I have the V8 Torsen in the rear. But unfortunately the normal Torsen suffers from the same issue like a open diff.
Therefore i want a Wavetrac diff. It is a Torsen with additional locking mechanism.

                        • Ok.. do you have to make modifications for the V8 diff ? Does that work better for track use ?
It´s just a question of time..

                              • The Torsen only works with load on both axles, otherwise a wheel with zero load i.e. off the ground, all the drive goes to that wheel. For pure track action I'd look at a plated diff.
But in this case first I would try a much smaller RARB and use stiffer springs to compensate, will improve independance of the rear suspension and hopefully stop it cocking one wheel.
