  • Any interest it C4 adjustable camber/caster plates?

So is there any interest in adjustable camber/caster plates for the C4 chassis(UrS4/6, 100, A6, etc.)? The idea is to make a quite simpple solution to keep the costs low, at least lower than on the 2bennett plates. Should work with stock upper spring plate, but will have a uniball bearing. As large adjustments as possible for them that use narrow springs diameter/coilovers.

    Something like these:

Wow, I don't see a price anywhere, are they even available? Ed didn't get them ready... Either way CNC-machined versions would be too expencive in the end.

Ed's are not currently available as far as I know, I would buy a set but I just picked up a set of 2Bennetts used for cheap. I'll put a link on QW and see if anyone over there is interested.

the spherical bearings on 2B camber plates is noisy.i remember a lot of folks has no such noise problems on them but mine.i ended up replacing them for a couple times and the noise is back soon.if you track the car the noise ain't your problems then beside of noise problem,i'm happy with them.

Let me know how noisy or harsh these end up being. If there is a softer option that would suit me and maybe others more than all out race components.

Not sure how I missed this thread 1st time around

I'm also interested but like Des would prefer something that's not too harsh for road use.

Agreed, you'll sell more to folks for their non track used daily road cars.

Plastic bushes, aluminium bushes and rose joints are not suitable for older owners of daily driven UrS6, imho.

                            Thanks.

I understand. It would need a totally different style plate with the stock top bearings and rubber bushings, but I will look into it, I may have an idea of how to do it. These spherical bearing plates will always be noisy, at least when the bearing get some play in it.
