I have been talking to MArtyn at VAGPARTS about the RS2 FARB PowerFlex bushes. PowerFlex do not yet make RS2 FARB bushes but Martyn has asked them to develop one - it will take a few weeks before they are available.Originally posted by Sal_S2Anyone know what the powerflex part numbers are for the rs2 arb bushes.
How many bushes are required?

Sorry it's not. It's designed for the B5 A4 Quattro and S4 (95-01) which shares the same rear suspension as the slippermobiles.

Ben
weren't we talking to each other about this last week on the forums!? that's awesome that you went with the 19mm. Once I get the RS2 ARB for the front, I may get the 19mm for the rear. Otherwise, I have a 16mm RS2 on the way from VAGparts!

I think we we're. I couldn't find the thread so I jumped on this one. Sorry if I've trod on any toes. Being stateside you have a few more options. Neuspeed, LLtek and Intrax spring to mind.
The RS2 one makes a hell of difference for a start but I still get too much roll for my tastes. I did a spread sheet of bar diameter vs stiffness. It's at work but I'll post it soon.
I went for 19mm as lots of S4/RS4 forums say that above that the rear subframe can crack. Hopefully fit it at work tomorrow so will post a full report.

Well, the B5s are heavier, so i think you will be fine. In fact, i've never heard of the subframe cracking with the 19mm...only with the 22mm which is no longer available regularly. it has to be ordered for a track car only.Originally posted by s2avantI think we we're. Neuspeed, a while back, had problems with the 19mm, but they have since remidied the problem with subframe supports. Good luck! I think 19mm rear will be the hot spot for the B4. Do you have RS2 front ARB?Joe "NoNonsense"

I've got full RS2 suspension (ARB's, droplinks and dampers) at the minute with H&R RS2 spec springs.
The subframe suports are monster bits of kit (see below). That's one of the other reasons I went for the neuspeed. That and the fact it was the only one I could get in the UK quickly.

Just a quick word or warning about over stiff rear roll bars. I put the front roll bar from my coupe on the rear and an RS2 roll bar on the front. This gives IMO too much oversteer, it can get out of shape easily and will catch you out if not careful. BTDT

@Tom,
This is why I opted for 19mm. I could have got a 22mm but this would be something like 14 times stiffer than stock. Too big and you end up with a car that's only good for the track.
And we don't all drive like you kids

Mines too much for track it will go out way to wide. Wait until Combe in Septmeber and you will see me drifting at most corners. Should be even more fun with over 420BHP!!! LOLsigpic

I fitted the RS2 FARB tonight and just took the car for a spin. I was to lazy to change the Whiteline to the stiffest setting (20mm) so I am still on the middle (19mm) setting. The difference with the RARB is quite dramatic. From oversteering with the Whiteline RARB only the handling is now pretty neutral. It feels much stiffer in corners and I can't wait to get it out to a race track. I'll change the RARB to stiffest this weekend and see how it goes then.1995 Silver S2 (ADU) Coupe
