Doesnt take long to change them at all. It is possible to do both of the ARB's without needing to jack the car up, Providing the undertray isnt on the front.

How long did it take you to fit? How much did you pay from DTs?
Hi Dan, No I just replaced the rear for now. I payed about £101 ish as I wanted the adjustable one. You can get the fixed one for about £96. Took about 20 mins to fit and didn't change the droplinks as they were fine. HTH

The ARBs should be changed with all four wheels on the ground. It usually helps to pull up to the edge of a curb or something similar to give you access under a lowered car.

yeah, When I did mine. I fitted to the drop links then with the car on the ground attached them to subframe so they wouldnt twist.

I think I'm talking myself around to doing both ARBs... And here was me thinking that 2005 would be the Year of No Mods. Well I can justify it by saying that the ARBs needed replacing anyway, so it's part of the normal maintenance replacement schedule...

Just leave the tightening of the arb to subframe clamps to the phase when the car is on the ground and that's it.

I'm planning to get the whiteline item at spring when I'm upgrading the suspension. Mainly because you all seem to love it. I hope it's not a disapointment then

I'd order it now then: just phoned Demon Tweeks and got the "it's got to come in on a container from Australia" response, meaning a delivery time of at least 8 weeks

                Have ordered the adjustable bar.

Oh, and the RS2 FARBs are on back-order from Germany!

Doesn't look like I'll be doing my ARBS at the Garage meet then...

Dan im pretty sure the retail cost of the FARB from main dealer is about the same as that from VAGParts, have you tried a dealer? As i assume the back order thing was with DT?

I've heard a rumor that Audi will no longer make RS2 Front ARBs...
I don't know if it's true or not...but hopefully everyone is all set on their ARB purchases!

                          Oh don't say that

Fingers crossed then! If the RS2 FARB can't be found anymore, are there any 3rd party options?

@Steve - blimey, you did well there! Did they say to you that they had it in stock when you ordered it, or were you given the whole "on a container from Australia" line as well?

I'm worried by the RS2 FARB situation now: VAG Parts said they had been on back order since November 2004 - anyone know what's going on?
