    Tim,

don't know if you were trying to get one for an avant, but the Whiteline (BAR14Z) is for the coupe, you would be better off going for the neuspeed ARB that Ben has fitted.

yes, mark, it is for my avant. i guess this has been posted before but what advantages does the neuspeed one have over say an rs2 rear ARB? can you get the Neuspeed ones readily ?

The whiteline Rear ARB is for COUPES only - not Avants !

The rear ARB upgrade options for the Avant are the RS2 item or a monster Nuespeed bar that Ben fitted with other subframe bolt-on mods (for a 100/200 or A6 chassis) - see other threads on this for Avants.

Fitted whiteline to my ABY coupe on Saturday..

Best £90 I've spent on the car!!

Changes direction so much quicker, feels more stable around straight ahead and understeer is loads less than before.

I went straight for the stiffest setting BTW.

              rating 10/10

Nick - have you changed just the rear by itself, or have you changed the front ARB to an RS2 unit as well?
                How tricky was the job?

                  Dan,

I've only done the rear so far, but would like to hear from anyone with the front done as well.
Not a difficult job at all - 2 nylocks hold the droplinks from the strut to the ends of the bar. The bar itself is captive by the bush and u-shaped bracket at either side - each held in place by a couple of bolts. ( OE bolts are a bit short to get started on the threads with the new brackets, but once tight they are OK )
Took me about 20mins to change them over.

                  Cheers,
                  Nick

I'm thinking of getting the Whiteline ARB for my coupe for Christmas (after experiencing my first taste of understeer. Wasn't going too fast - on a roundabout I've gone round before at the same speed. Road was wet however!). Is Demon Tweaks the best place to get it from? I've been on their website - and it appears to be a phone order. Does anyone have a part number, or will they know what I need if I just tell them it is for an S2? Anyone BTDT please? If I am after one for Christmas, do I need to think about ordering it now?
Secondly, it was mentioned earlier in this thread, but not answered - for best results, does it also need the front ARB replacing also (for the RS2 one maybe?).
                    Cheers again
                    Paul

Yeah order it now, took months for mine to come because they wouldnt place the order until enough people were on the list to get them shipped.

The adjustable version is BAR14Z and fixed BAR14.

Personally I think its worth doing the front ARB at the same time too unless you want to get a bit more towards the oversteer stakes, I may try the standard S2 ARB back on mine to see what it is like by comparison though.

Thanks Greg. I don't want it to go into oversteer mode either.
So is the best for the front the RS2 one? Is this from VAGparts? Cheers

yeah that should be fine, if you cant afford both start with the lowest setting on the adjustable one and see what you think. You can always make the rear a bit stiffer if you want.

Fitted mine (thanks Graham) yesterday (medium setting) which has made the rear of the car feel very planted. A def. mod to do for the money. Ordered mine from D.T over the phone and recieved it 3 days later.

@rotorboy - did you to the FARB as well - ie. changing to the RS2 FARB? Did you just change the ARB, or did you get new droplinks as well?
How long did it take you to fit? How much did you pay from DTs?
