We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
1) put alloy on the bottom
2)little bit cut of both plastic ends
3) mount new shift
4)put 4 washers on studs
5) tightened this
6) cut off a holder off spring?
??? I did not cut he plastic thing and it still changes gear fine ....mine is the 5 speed gearbox, maybe cut it if you are doing the 6 speed box ? I don't know, but no problems at all after I fitted it , really nice feel to the shift now .
DeS maybe will be better to make a DIY explanation + pic's for the 5 and 6 gearboxes...I will need some help too.
Mine is here - looks very nice. Thanks again mate.
Up for a good seller.
I have next problem. If its right,if the spring are fit on the shift ball and slides after the ball ? (u can see on the picture). Because a OEM shifter have a holder which hold spring up to ball (on the picture)
