    My new URS4

I'm sure a lot of members may recognise the car, but here is my new (to me) URS4.

It had pretty much been laid up for the past few years, only coming out for a quick blast or MOT. I think around 300/400 miles in the past few years.

It was kindly MOT'd and serviced by the previous owner, and I promptly drove back 250+ miles home.

Since I've had it , it's been in my local specialists getting checked over, by all accounts it's a bit of a garage favourite with a lot of the mechanics taking a shine it.

Currently the work to do stands at just a full cambelt and ancillaries service.

I've had it a week, but only driven it home... I miss it already. I'm away this week working, but next weekend has lots of driving penciled in.

I will also be accumulating go faster bits depending upon availability.

I'm going to swap the wheels from my B6 quattro (17" pro race. 1.2s), and put these S3 wheels on the B6. Not sure what to do with the original audi wheels yet.

Needs a machine polish and a wee bit of rust addressed, which will be promptly sorted.

Congrats. Looks good (but we need more front and rear photos). Interesting that it seems to have the rear hatch spoiler (might not - can't tell from those photos).

Check your Private Mail here for links to UrS info that you will find useful.

I hate a new car thread with minimal pictures!

New pictures coming when I get the car back next week, sorry about that.

        I think your right...

There seem to be a few with a smaller spoiler on google images too.

I think I prefer the bigger one

            Welcome, more photos, :roll eyes:

Sun roof is nice to have imho.

Different rims can only be better.

The sunroof is very nice, works perfect.
I don't mind the S3 wheels, but feel lighter and smaller team dynamics ones would look better.

This is the B6 wearing them...

                Is your sunroof pre-select type?

Ooooo, no idea, it has a dial with open one way, and tilt the other. In the middle is closed.

I have a dial/twisty knob. Mine was made November 1993, so one of the latter S4s.

Nov. 93 is actually early in the 94 model year which ran until June 1994.

Your hatch "spoiler" is the same one that I have on my Jan 1994 UrS4 V8 avant, i.e. not the big one.
