Old fuel pump is out, plastic sleeve is on route for the walbro 255 and ECU on its way to PRJ.

Replaced front CVs and rear diff seal for good measure too.

Good times.

Yep, it had superchips. While admittedly it apparently ran well, it is a bit of a bodge and not ideal.

I've started stripping the turbo and exhaust manifold off for next weekend.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to fit my RS2 turbo and extras.

After struggling to fit the Walbro 255 pump, I found a cheap knock off fuel pump on eBay.. The seller even dismantled the pump prior to purchase and sent photos.

One cheap fuel pump with plastic sleeve...

... And now the ECU has been lost on route to PRJs.

Yes all recorded and insured, but I have had issues with claiming previously. The whole process is designed to put you off claiming. They usually ask for a reciept as valuation...

Anyone know how much the relevant ECU from Audi Tradition is??? perhaps I can use that for me valuation.

Their advice today was for me to contact the postal service in Estonia...

I've not even been given the details.

If anyone has a non imobiliser AAN ECU (551A), I might be interested.

What value did you put it down as? Go to Audi, get a price from them and claim it

Update:

In the last 30 minutes the tracking number has resurfaced with the parcel now within a stones through of PRJ. Hopefully it will be delivered in one piece tomorrow.

PRJ actually went out of his way to try and track the parcel from his end (with more success than myself)... It appears it was sent via road from the UK. So big thanks to Dmitri!

Once with PRJ, I will claim a refund on the postage due to the delay in delivery.

Off on a trip to the Weat Coast of Scotland soon, so hopefully I'll have the the old lady back up and running with RS2 power in time.

ECU confirmed with Dmitri, I am home for a few days, so time to get busy.



Also got pads (F&R) and rear discs.
Sourced some front wings which will be an autumn project after the summer.

All new gaskets ready too.

It's been too long getting this stuff bolted on!
