It's the reflection of the Coupe that's making it look weird.

              Jobs done so far,
Best attempt at making the paintwork look better.
              Top hose and MFTS replaced.
Cooling system flushed and comma G30 antifreeze put in.
              PS pump X plug replaced.
              Tightend/adjusted boot catches.
Unseized the rear wiper arm hinge.
Repaired the leaking rear screen wash bottle.

              Jobs still on the list,
Fit new bulbs to dash switches.
Sort seats so they don't move when you tip it hard into corners!
              Clean door checks.
              Scrub interior.
Sort bonnet, N/S catch missing from bonnet?
              Check brakes, underside etc.
              Replace creeking strut top mounts.

Did you notice any change when you installed the new MFTS, was it oem or Behr ?

How did you tighten the new power steering x plug ?

Presumably one of the two little white plastic clips are missing from one of the rear 'legs' of the seats, (or less likely the 'rubber' insert at the front, if the tipping is from side to side, rather than front to back.).

Hopefully the grill situation is in hand.

MFTS was Behr I think, only replaced it as I'd ordered one thinking the original was kapoot.........only difference was psychological !

X-plug I tightened with a screwdriver then a wee chap with a chisel.......

Feels like the rear of the seat is loose.......will report back.

Yeah, btdt. Consider ordering a new light brown electrical connector plug for the MFTS from the Dealer.

It ensures the connection is good and allows you to check the condition of the pins in the old connector when you break apart the old connector before fitting the pins to the new connector.

Make sure to photograph the layout of the pins in the old existing connector plug before carefully break it apart a bit at a time.

I know you can get a repair kit for the plug/wiring but it's not required....the plug and wiring connectors are in surprisingly good condition, so they were given a squirt of ACF50 and plugged back in!
