Ok next couple of months should see the car getting finished, i got the chargecooler mounted by cutting the bottom end tank off and reversing it by 180 deg i also wlded the DV on to the tank. I also welded -12 fittings on the water inlet/outlets for better flow.
The crank sensor is also mounted, and the same bloke that did my pistons also did the 60 teeth on the front pulley thanks greyham at sykes engineering http://www.sykoracing.com/.
A 4" DP will soon be getting fabricated and a wide band lambda and controller fittedhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wide-Band-Lambda-Kit-latest-bosch-wideband-o2-sensor_W0QQitemZ220195234004QQihZ012QQcategoryZ722 05QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem so i can finnish off making the engine loom for the DTA.The ONLY S2 Golf!

The sensor is the crank position sensor, the ecu calculates the ignition angle by counting the teeth, put simply!
No climate control but i did manage to fit the PAS pump be machining a spacer bracket so that the pump clears the IM .The ONLY S2 Golf!

Oh sooooooo neeeeeeeat...
The front pulley machining, why not on the flywheel edge, cost, installed already?
This 60-2 stuff, any more hints for the stupid, me, or a book i can read. Haven't quite sussed how it works as the crank does 2 revs for one 4 stroke cycle.
Oh, any good B and B's close to this machine shop, it'll be a long trek for me.Carlos.

I`ll be using a 60-1 tooth wheel.
cylinder 1 fires at 0 deg
" 2 " " 144 deg
" 4 " " 288 "
" 5 " " 432 "
" 3 " " 576 "
And thats your four strokes over. The ONLY S2 Golf!

Be careful...
the braid doesn't get near to hot spots...if low temp nylon it'll melt and you'll be pizzy...i liked the various diameter flexible conduit tubing...has good temp ranges last time i checked but more expensive.
Can't wait for this to fire up.Carlos.
