Hi! The car and me is still alive. I have welded on a 100 cell catalyst to my Supersprint exhaust and polished the car/ceramic coated it. Last week i was on a big meet near Gothenburg. This was a meet with all types of cars, from Koenigsegg to old Audis. Very nice meet an many people. It was a 500km drive for me and the RS2, wich behaved good. A little bit cold during the night as i sleept in the trunk
The Coupé that is in the pictures is a custom build with S4 B5 front/rear. Widened rear fenders and lots of other mods done to it. Really nice build.

I got hold of an -95 Audi S2 Avant rear/front end subframe for 200 euros, nothing to think about (though im home with the baby and don't have a lot of cash). 200 euros is to good to be true, so i went and picked it up Looks good and have lots of nice parts on it such, cast front wishbones/rear upper cast wishbones. Happy days, some times i feel lucky. I will tear it down and sandblast it/powder coat it some day. But i think it will be after my daddytime at home. The car passed 250 000km today 45764-20b33b51e09c4d9f70e80cd81b74a9ce.jpg 45764-8961e89603c81dc6c62df0d76f307ef6.jpg

Cleaned hood, also cleaned every plastic trim and clips:

I know this post was from awhile ago but I am trying to locate a few "Old" style hood insulation clips. It seems as though the part numbers in the system now are a completely different style of clip that uses a screw instead of the push pin style as seem above.

Is it still possible to purchase the original style clips? Part# ?

            Thanks in advance,

Any more info on the clips on the left?

They look similar to the roof rack clips that I cant find a replacement for

                    Hi!

                    Long time no see.

I'm still here and the car too. Been busy with kids and all around that. But i have done some things with the car during these years.
I got hold of some fresh front original seats with alcantara/leather.
                    45764-fa6be030b719ea44912cb4be9a64eba3.jpg

The rear seats where customized with the orignal leather but with blue alcantara (bought from Auditradition) so almost like factory spec back seat.
I had the floor mats made at the same time, black with blue edges.
                    45764-b7dd37179275d8b5f12f45efcbed07fe.jpg 45764-361e3effe8e378de12aa6cdf611cd09d.jpg

Changed the intercooler for a wagner, little bit bigger but with all stock fittings. Should be better than original 30 year old one. Also did the "Mark-H mod"? Right name?
                    45764-6b54b71b6207f2ca5027e7dbc1ca6e22.jpg 45764-5e3abd7000f6bbd3812b9f561822f25d.jpg
Finaly got hold of a dream stering wheel, 3-spoke without airbag leather/blue alcantara. It's a rebuildt steeringwhell with org alcantara/horn button. Even have the right stamping. Always loved that steeringwheel.
                    45764-9fa0fdc187738a3fe3bb45f45802acca.jpg 45764-ed8a7377b230837e3a2ae91efa464953.jpg 45764-f5ca2161f16853d11ce34b4f56a0c752.jpg 45764-dce419b5e81ba850f6e0612d7618e2e1.jpg

Now i'm waiting for bumpers and some trims to get back from the painter. They had some stone chips and some parts where badly painted i think.
B and C-pillars where a little ruff and the C-pillars had some corrosion on them.

                    Before cleanup:
                    45764-fa4ec44bf7fad9c4cea6c9949805023e.jpg
After some cleaning, i also had to get a new right mount for the rear bumper, but that was available at auditradition.
                    45764-e66a72f00c62a54ff2bda5580e89c571.jpg
I will try to update a little bit more now.
Hopfully i get the painted parts this week, we will see.

Good to see you're still here and the car too! Very nice progress. I'm curious if you can sense some effects of the Wagner intercooler. I got my RS2 on the dyno last week and she performed very close if not on spec (305 bhp, 406Nm). With a bit cooler intake air, there might be a bit more in it.

I don't think i will feel any difference regarding the intercooler. It was months since my last drive. But hopefully it helps if you are chasing numbers.

Bumpers/front door lower trims and b,c pillars back from the painter.
Looks so much better than before. Made the first test drive for the season today.
Need to adjust the steering wheel a bit, otherwise i think its good enough for this season

I don't expect wonders there, and the car runs just fine. From all coolers, there are two still original on the car: the aux coolant rad and the intercooler. With so many parts NLA, one does tend to replace just because they are still available.
Nice paint job on the car, it looks mint! Do you consider ppf on the bumper and hood to preserve it?
