Do you have the part number of the plastic door card seals. One on my car is missing and cannot find it on etka.

Nice sunny day here so made a start on re fitting the headliner and door cards.
I was on my own and this is really a two person job but it looks like I got it in straight.

I’m using this stuff which seems good.

Getting the seat belt trim back on correctly is quite difficult. It has to be lined up with the height adjuster.

I fitted new door card seals.

And changed the seat belt bolts as they were corroded.

    Drivers door card fitted.

I ran out of time tonight. I will finish tomorrow. Just the nearside door card and boot carpet left to fit.

you can run a watering can over it to check for sealing. Saves finding out the hard way in the first downpour which I'm sure you get a lot of in Wales.

It's done up nice and tight and to be sure I did put a little ring of sealant around the base underneath.

Make sure the aerial is done up properly...

When refitting mine all looked well until I went out in the rain and noticed in my rear view mirror drips coming out of the light fitting

I seem to recall an o ring somewhere that might be worth checking is still soft.. Its been a while though so its possible ive made that up.

I picked up an undertray from another forum member a while back. It was a good fit. The car didn’t come with one.

My bee sting was in a sorry state.

Someone had used sealant and the rubber washer was missing.

    Cleaned up

I happened to have a good bee sting and seal (as you do).

    And it fitted nicely.

That’s not a scratch. It a reflection of a wire.
Just had a call that my headliner and door cards are ready.

The grommet fits inside this recess and is only held in place by the pressure from the spring on the end of the cable.

These are the four clips that you need to squeeze together.

Get your hand underneath the clip and squeeze them together as hard as you can whilst pulling the bracket up. Release one side at a time. To get the cable off, pull the end away from the slot with long nose pliers and whilst holding it back, use your other hand to push a long flat bladed screwdriver under the little grommet and prise it out.

Also changed the throttle pedal which was broken for a good spare I had.

I must say your are doing incredibel work. This thread is a great inspiration for me as I´m doing the kind of the same journey.

Regardint the throttle pedal. I´m having a hard time getting it loose from the floor pan. I can´t get the clips to unhook. Any pointers there?

I put my Nothelle wheels on the Avant so these have gone on the Coupe.
I had them refurbished a couple of years ago and the Pirelli tyres are like new.
