It's horrid to have to deal with I hate the stuff, maybe the yellow foam is different to the orange foam of doom.... I do know that you mustn't get it on Alcantara, I'm taking all the seat's out my car before I tackle mine.

Not mine. Tried even near boiling water with strong detergent

    Oh FFS...

It never occurred to me to try using water as solvent for it, cheers for the info Chris, that's very good to know.

I've used much the same technique just using very sharp picks until I can get a 90 degree pick underneath them to carefully press on the under side of of the teeth, they pop pretty easily once you've done the first couple, I have spares if you need them.

Just read your most recent post, don't think I have that many spare.

Good tip on the nail polish remover.

None of my screwdrivers or knives would squeeze in the tiny gap. I did try.

Hmm, if you do it the way I suggested you can flatten and reuse them ?

I use a small thin screwdriver in between the teeth an lever one up slightly, repeat between the next pair of teeth till it loosens. The dash one is hard work as your working blind!

They are brittle and will likely break. You are going to loose 30% of them (my estimate) regardless of removal technique.

Take a good one and bring it to a hardware store with a good selection. I found something similar that held just as good.

Not expensive if you do the prep work and they use a glue that you can only get in the trade.
That's good to know Dave, I've been dreading tackling the one's in my 100 and RS2, might still have a go at the C4 one myself as that's not quite so important but the other one must be perfect, don't mind doing all the prep myself even though I hate the orange stuff. Am guessing you found someone at least fairly local to do the job as they're not the most convenient thing to transport?
