Generally speaking these old girls had fairly hard lives as mileage eaters followed by hauling families and leisure paraphernalia into their middle age. Be interesting to see the general condition now so we can compare when it’s done.

What's the plan with this one. Similar work that you did on the S2?

It's not actually mine at the moment. I have offered to buy the car or do the work for the owner who is on Classic Audi. There is quite a lot that needs doing. It's sat for three years after the clutch went. In that time, some pondlife stole the cats.

Inside was all mouldy.


So everything got cleaned and the leather fed.


Underneath is a mess.


And most bushes are shot.


The engine bay however is very clean.
