I see we're in for crap weather again this weekend, so much chance to keep the ball rolling.

I have also lost my access to the Bridgeport and bead blaster. So I am glad I have already got most of the mucky stuff done.

The fantastic turn-out at ADI this year really reminded me how much I love these S2s, and that I need to stick with it. That and a ride in Sonic's car at the Ring earlier in the year. The trouble is these days 450+bhp still doesn't seem like enough on track.

Well I can't really turn that down, can I.

We are overdue a good summer next year, so fingers crossed. I managed to get a few things done in the Spring drought this year. But once the hose pipe bans came in, any dry days were used for maintenance on the rest of the fleet.
The MOT runs out on the Porsche next month and I need to get under it for a couple of little jobs. Although I'm tempted to leave it until Spring, as it's pheckin' useless at this time of year. But it is my current Ring toy, so needs to be fit in April.

How is your S2, Dan?

I think the lesson to be learned here is if you are thinking of undertaking a major overhaul, then make sure you get on with it quickly. Otherwise you end up trying to fill the S2 driving void with other toys that end up stealing time from working on the S2.

I made some time for the old banger today. I probably should be swapping lambda probes on the Porsche, or something, but I can probably do that in the rain or in the dark. So seeing as we're getting some dry, albeit cold weather with a hint of snow, S2 tinkering it was.

So I made a start on the intake pipework.







And JP thought his engine bay was dirty.
But to be fair the car hasn't been cleaned for over 5 years. I kind of liked it when the engine bay was clean and empty.

Hy Stu! Can you, please, tell me more about your rear brakes?
The discs are the S4 300mm ones reduced at 280mm?
Some pictures please...as i am going the same route and the discs are not soo cheap.
