I think it's algae, fed by water that drips off of the bonnet. Don't worry, it will polish up after it's finished.
Anyway, that's nothing compared to the garden on the rest of the car.

Hy Stu! Can you, please, tell me more about your rear brakes?
The discs are the S4 300mm ones reduced at 280mm?
Some pictures please...as i am going the same route and the discs are not soo cheap.

Yes, Eugen. They are the 300mm S4 disks reduced to 280mm. I had originally bought A3 front disks, and was going to change the PCD. But the S4 disks were an easier option, and I used the A3 disks on the A3.
Calipers are the alloy S8s.

The reverse inlet manifold I have had for a long time. It was out on loan for a little while, test fitted to Audiman's S2.
It's a shame loads of his photos are gone. I can't find one of his Team Bodge 'copy' of it.

I have just been measuring up for incorporating the ISV and DV into the intake plumbing. The engine bay looked a bit weird with the slam panel fitted after all this time.

I love the shot of the garden, reminds me of a car is saw on the hightsteet in totnes once, It had a full lawn cultivated on to the bonnet and roof.
Give it a few more years and your might look similar.

I can imagine that in Totnes. Probably to throw you off of the scent of the 'herb' garden in the boot.

It's a good job I am not scared of spiders. They have taken over the interior.

Hey 4Wheel Drifter and S2 Bo.... Its been a long time. great looking project 4Wheel I cant wait to see it!! .. IM cureently carless atm, though on the prowl for one, and with new opportunities viewing my options.
One of them being S2 again and go for a lovely project. The other could be rs4 saloon if Im lucky. Or just get a cheap runnaround and see what my near future holds.
tbh viewed an s2 today.. Seems alot of good ones went recently.

Just read this start to finish. Im laughing so hard at the combination of time its taking, banter and the epic foliage growing in the trim. Reminds me of my daily that has never been cleaned externally in nearly 6yrs. Definitely have algae and other foreign ***** growing in cracks and crevices. At least you had a good summer this year so assuming you had other things on that stopped you finishing off this brilliant car?

C'mon Stu weathers getting better now, about time you got out and watered those plants. I just washed the RS2 for the first time since 2011 and this makes me think she is spoilt!
