Most of the gear noise I can hear on mine seems to come up through the centre console.

My radio is a dud (hence trying to find an OEM look alike with features). In the meantime it is music to my ears.

what did that MAF cost you? I got one for roughly 400 GBP.

Woot! Dog rough idle / stalling issue is sorted - fuel pressure reg was duff.
Of course it had to the £25 part I bought to fix it, not the £250 one
Oh well at least now I have a new MAF and a good spare.

Interesting.. Maybe that's the problem with my 5 coil conversion. The rail and FPR are both second hand and new to the car

Car runs ok on throttle and up to about 1 bar, stalls when you let it drop to idle but if you hold the throttle slightly open for a few seconds it will gradually adapt and then idle ok.

Pretty much what mine was doing. Rough idle too, about 700rpm.
I was also getting the 00561 code.

Yes It was cheaper to buy a new reg than the gauge and fittings though

Well for the past week I have mostly been burning V-power. The coupe is flying
Raced and comprehensively killed Helen's S4 so now she is pretty pissed. Good.

Thermostat is playing up so I have a new one on order, and the crappy new Febi expansion tank looks like its about to crack down the seam after a mere 800 miles
So I have a new OEM one ready to go when the new stat arrives. Final job once its all running perfectly will be to get the AC gassed up.

I'm making about 1.3bar on the Homefries, so I think still have a 0.1bar more hiding in there somewhere. I have a minor boost leak so that will be it.
I'm building a smoke pressure tester to seek it out.
