LOL....this IS Georgia! I think it goes nicely with the rumble of the 7.3 litre turbo diesel engine. It does help blend in too!

BTW, that's not a confederate plate it's the previous Georgia state flag.

Speaking of blending in....... The RS2 in all it's blue glory stuck out like a sore thumb at the local body shop. I live in the north Georgia mountains where moonshine running began so you have this heritage of hot rodding American cars.....not Audis. Anyway, the paint shop is filled with old Camaros, Mustangs, etc that are there for restoration so the the owners of these cars hang out around the shop. Oh boy, you want to talk about feeling out of place! So I'm there after the car was painted bolting on the suspension and Porsche wheels and guys are asking me what it is. I was actually surprised that most of them were very interested in it once I told them the specs and performance figures. All of them LOVED the RS Blue. One fellow after seeing the color has his Harley Davidson trimmed in RS Blue!!!

Tonight was the night. Pulling the harness through are really easy with the fuse box removed. From the engine bay I put one hand down through the fuse box hole and the other obviously in the engine bay. I just pass connectors from one hand to the other. Easy street.

I had previously assembled the horn/series resistor so it was an easy bolt on. The lighting harness also contains the wiring for the horn so I went ahead and hooked them up. Radiator ducting also in picture.

Bolted up the rear brake calipers, attached the side brackets for the rear bumper along with the cabin vent and a couple of grommets.

                            A shiny new Betaflex-D aerial.

Another grill pic. Also caught the truck grill.

An odd view of the cabin from the rear. It's hard for me to believe this area will soon be filled with black, blue, and carbon. I can hardly wait.

OMG friend hope you know what are you doing

                            great work¡ and good luck¡¡

                              Not really

                              The transmission was a '53
And the motor turned out to be a '73
And when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were gone.

So we drilled it out so that it would fit
And with a little bit of help with an A-daptor kit
We had that engine runnin' just like a song
Now the headlight' was another sight
We had two on the left and one on the right
But when we pulled out the switch all three of 'em come on.

The back end looked kinda funny too
But we put it together and when we got thru
Well, that's when we noticed that we only had one tail-fin
About that time my wife walked out
And I could see in her eyes that she had her doubts
But she opened the door and said "Honey, take me for a spin."
