Made some progress on the exhaust. This is the Jetex back box
I cut the std flange off and stepped it up to 3" to mach the rest of the system.
This is the middle silencer and pipe work
It's all just tacked at the moment but I had it all on the car this afternoon and the alignment is near perfect
I picked up the parts I need this week to make a back purge set up on the welder, so I'll have a practice and then get this lot welded.sigpic

Another thing I've just remembered, when I fitted the springs I fitted new hubs and struts off a later car ( ABY? ) with the larger M14 strut to hub bolts.
Are these in any other way different to early 3B struts?sigpic

Well, there is no going back now, the engine is going in this weekend.
I've dropped it off the stand and fitted the flywheel and clutch
Started to strip parts off the old engine
I sense it could be a long weekendsigpic
