Did my first 100miles today, no real problems, it's smooth and pulls like a train. The difficult bit is not getting carried away when it makes boost from 2000rpm

The steering feels much better than before thanks to the new rack and damper. The exhaust sounds great and it's not boomy, I can't wait to hear it under full throttle

The stroker is no more, it is an ex-stroker

I've not got it in the garage yet, but I'm guessing either the crankshaft or camshaft pulley has let go , resulting in mechanical carnage. Pissed off is an understatement.

After driving the car again and feeling the potential the engine has, it's definatley going to be fixed, I just need to get motivated to start pulling it apart again

Oh and the slight problem of getting a non-running car up a 45° drive and into the garage

hehehe maybe taking the head off and then block out then it would be easier to get up there.

Pull it up in gear on the starter i had to do this when my engine failed
