I need to change my project description again very soon! I sold my complete Garret GT3071R setup

Jyrki Repo will help me in choosing and supplying the right CT turbo fullfilling my needs so more updates will follow soon.

I am planning to use the T3 version of Carsten Wagner's EVO cast EM. Turbo will be a CT355 variant. Jyrki will compile the right configuration for me, since I am not sure if Stage 4 or Stage 5 will suit my needs

My aim is early full-boost, say 1.9 bar (640Nm?) at 3200 RPM and +500 crank HP. I want to use my current ADU cams or even go back to ABY cams if it delivers me the needs I have. I already have a Dahlback cam pully, so my tuner should be able to adjust cam timing if needed.

bram, if you are going to go with 355 and possibly around that amount of torgue, be sure to make a wise choise of clutch disc as well,as spec 3+will be on it's limit.Which is why initially i wont go to far extends with boost pressure on my next setup,so that it wont eat off the disc. Apparently Javad from 034 says that 3+ (the old one that i have) is good enough for up to 670NM or so but i wouldnt push it much over the 600Nm limit anyway for now.You may need a sinter clutch or one of the ones that repo makes.

I guess Bram will go for a Joe clutch, it handles up to 750 Nm I believe.

I seriously doubt any single disc will hold 750Nm.
Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspirated

I'm wrong it should be 700 Nm don't know if anyone used with that amount of torque though http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...ght=joe+clutch

I have the new 6-pad sinter clutch from Joe. Still need to fit it though. I think it will handle the amount of torque this new CT will produce (~640Nm). That would be more then enough for me

                      New FW arrived

With help of Aelred I was able to put the 7A FW on a diet
Now weighting 7kg instead of 11-12kg. Thanks Aelred

Also some pictures of the new clutch from Joe

I hope to fit these parts in the coming weeks and still have to buy the DM->SM clutch conversion "kit"

I just wondered if the OEM WG is capable of handling say 500HP? Anyone using it with these HP numbers?

according to PKmotorsports, it can. Can actually cope with a bit more than that.

basically i would only change it if i would be getting high boost towards the end of the rev range, and could not be able to lower it with the boost control.Thats when it is actually too cramped. Then i would go for the tial unit 44mm.

                            cams

i would go for cams from the 7A engine if your aiming at 500 crank, this is a good choice trust me.
u have the adjustable pulley from dalhback racing on exhaust and intake cam then we talking fast spoolups.

Im boosting 2.1 at 4000 rpms but im using a slow spooling turbo ( netics ) T61

                            Keep it up

The wastegate will be not enough if you run a tiny turbo and want to run low boost. Bigger turbo and big boost is not a problem.

the stock Wg should be good enough if u change the spring to 2 kg .
