Well, your car had some surge I had to map out, so I had to lower the boost at start.
So you lose most of the advantage the cams give you right now.

With 7A cams you will get slower spoolup, but that won't matter since I am artificially slowing it down now anyway.

So for your particular application you can just use both cams and be happy.
    Needs a remap though.

Yeah, thats as i understood it then - i'd be better of using 7a cams over the aby/rs2.

Any rough idea what you think the 7a cams would give after being mapped?

Spool wouldn't change as mentioned, so i'd assume just more bhp at the end of it?

No problem i know it's not an exact science... One for the future perhaps, if i happen to get my hands on a set of 7A cams.

Seems like your memory is failing then as they are not black.

The good news is that i was told the wedding wouldn't be the same without the s2 in our wedding pictures, so i guess that counts as permission to have the s2 in ribbons as the wedding car

And of course the car must be looking mint, so you can send it off to Ish to be resprayed.

I'd absolutely love to, but unfortunately i think i'm going to have to save for a while until i can sort that side of the car out, even though it badly needs it.
