All in i've spent far more than i should have on this car... many many tens of thousands. But i've done 11 'ring trips and many hundreds of laps, had many UK track-days, and countless fun trips, weekends away and experiences with the car... so i wouldn't change it for anything

Great to hear you've finally got it running fine, if you're heading up to North Wales let me know would be good to get out for a run!

Spent the last couple of days reading through all 4 years and 93 pages in this thread
You can really sense the desperation earlier in the thread to get the car running, and not knowing what the problem was after the first rebuild. Pages 35 - 61 are a seriously depressing read
It really does feel like a natural "end" to the project having got the car to the spec i want and running correctly. A project that's taken considerable amounts of time, energy, effort and money over the last 4 years since 2009, and over the last 6 years i've owned the car really.
But as always it's never-ending and i'll keep this thread upgraded with any future work on the car.
Dyno tomorrow

Haynes Manual:As described in Chapter 7...
Translation:That'll teach you not to read through before you start, now you are looking at scarey photos of the inside of a gearbox.Comment
