It's great to see you're enjoying the S2 again, Andy.

The weather in North Wales was almost perfect at the weekend. If I had known you were near Snowdon, I would have given you a wave from up there.

I'm surprised you didn't hear the iconic sound thundering through the valleys and realise it was me Stu, much like that opening lap of the 'ring you heard from Hohe Acht

Do them now as if you have kids you wont be able to do them again for at least 5-10 years, right when they will be saying: floor it Dad!

I forgot how good it feels to have a free evening with a bit of sunshine to blitz the car and get a good coat of wax on it

                She's looking good again.

I have had this before. A little bit of fiddling and trial and error and no more beeps...

Looked like a cracking weekend, the S2 does not look out of place at all...

Had some track action recently at Silverstone, with the tyre blow out:

Given that one of the alloys is trashed and i'm heading to Spa in a few weeks (new 595RSR tyres and pads/discs) i've been looking at getting some light weight track alloys i've opted to give these a go

I've got one to test fitment over the brakes, but they're ET42 8J so would require a 10-15mm spacer to clear the suspension i think.

They look nice Andy, should fit fine with a 12mm spacer
With 15mm as you might get some arch contact with the big shoulders on the R888s

Not the lightest wheel in the world but they'll look awesome and should be strong

Should be in the 20-21kg/corner region.

The shipping weight says 12-13kg each including the packaging and wheelbolts it came with i guess.

I'm also looking into the SL2 Marmora as they are in ET35, but seeing if i can get them in anthracite with diamond cut face like the SUV version.

They're heavy, so I decided against them. Should look good though.

Speedline aren't the lightest wheels unfortunately.

                                What about these -

You'll need 10mm spacers though, as I can only find ET45
