      • Hoping to get her back this week. Boost leak and some map tweaks needed so she idles properly (or an ISV fitted if can't be done by mapping alone).
        Prior to boost leak, was very happy as ran really well. Pooh your pants fast!:lol
        Are you coming over to UK any time soon? Could try and meet up?

              • Little update. Boost leak has been sorted. It was caused by a combination of hoses needing tightening up and a small pinhole in the intake plenum. Just awaiting delivery of 3 fuel injector seals which need replacing as they are leaking.
                Before the car developed the boost leak, I did open her up a couple of times (it would be rude not to). That was plenty fast enough to make me hold on tight to the steering wheel. Found out today that car has been running on about one third throttle. That should make a bit of difference

                • New Issues - Help please!

                  Having real issues sorting my engine (just for a change)
                  So far have found several boost leaks, engine operating on one third throttle, intermittent fault with fuel sensor and intermittent fault with fuel pump relays.
                  All above sorted and looked good to go, but engine just cuts out at between 3-5k when coming on boost. Engine then needs switching off and restarting which (suggesting possible ECU reset). Anyone suffered anything like this?

                  • damm,still bad luck
                    so the reason for an engine cut can be to much boost but on that rpm i doubt that so probably there is a fuel problem.
                    maybe you can make a testdrive with a fuel pressure meter in sight so you can see if the fuel pressure drops?

                    • Are you using a maf? Could be that. Is it mapped for the setup you are using?

                      • Hi guys, thanks. Running no MAF setup and mapped on a dyno after original build. No new modifications and this problem only started recently.

                        EDIT: Other than replacing faulty fuel sensor

                        • does it cut with no boost control. ie mechanical boost?

                          • From memory you have a Pectel ECU? Can you not check logs?
                            Perhaps the calibrator has set up safety threshold for low fuel pressure / lean AFR / high EGTs etc?

                            • yes Pectel. PM sent
                              All possible fueling issues being looked into.
                              So far,Boost leaks (minor) found and resolved.
                              fuel sensor changed, fuel pumps rewired, relays renewed - intermittent fault on relays and sensor.
