I do believe something to do with the spark.
When my loom was made approx 15 years ago now, in order to save some money, Pectel in their infinite wisdom, instead of sleeving this wire seperately to avoid interference, twisted it with another wire. This was done to save approx £50 at the time which when you consider the overall cost of a new ECU and loom was laughable.
ANyway, main thing is it's running again and I'm driving her again
I'm trying to sort a meet up with some of the forum 'oldies'. Would be great to see you ,mate
On seperate note, went down to see Ish yesterday and your shell is coming on.

Hehe well it must have been throwing a fault, meaning the ecu had to be reset..
Messaged Ish today, he's doing the final re-prime the week after next. It's been so long since it was on the road I've started having big power 20v stroker fantasies..
But I think I'm going to keep her as is, a Treser 10v with a few mods.
Popped up to the GTI Spring Festival today and met up with Stuart.
Great to see his car performing in fine fettle down the strip gaining fastest Audi on the day.
Would have liked to take my baby for a sprint but would you believe I forgot my license - what a ********:grr::shake:
Just a few of shots I took
And another rather fast Audi, this time an S2 - until the gearbox broke
Took my baby for her MOT today. The new 'Aero' number plate raised a smile but seems to have sailed through. So I can look forward to a year's motoring
