I was wondering why I'm not experiancing the same problems, I'm still using all stock pipe work with swagged lips.

Goes to show how much stick the inlet pipe work get's at this sort of boost level!

Excellent solution with the swagging tool, looks like it it works really well, I'm most impressed.

          Has it worked?

Thanks guys, quite satisfying to make as it works.

I was just thinking that as well Kit (had not seen you post about any issues), sometimes it really is simpler to just use OEM bits as they normally have it right!

All hoses still correct after last night and today, time will tell.

Great work on the swaging tool I've seen the hair spray trick before in this video

Might give it a try when mine goes back together.

Yeah, the guy that took it for a drive, and then signed off the brakes should be beaten over the head with the G60s

                      Cheers.

It worked a treat, all joints slid together effortlessly, no struggling. Went sticky after just a few minutes, and need a firm pull to get apart again even without the clamp on.

I have used it on rubber and foam bike grips, lube up to slide on, and then they set solid once solvent/alcohol evaporates off.

                        Oil cooler fitted

Went for a quick spin and oil temps stayed rock solid after a few pulls, instead of climbing slightly.

It make all the difference having a decent oil cooler, I also wonder how gacked up the original ones get.

Good point, it will have a good glaze on it now, even if in good condition.

Nice! I'd be tempted to paint it black to stealth it up behind the grill
Whats sort of temps are you seeing after a few pulls with the RS2 gear mate?

Its not too bad, if I ever get around to doing the intercooler I will do it at the same time. (intercooler stands out a bit)
