Straight swap as Steve says, but 2.6 turns v 2.8 lock to lock. ABY rack feels lighter than the 3B with the servotronic off.
Not great access to swap it, Kit did it with the IM off, Alex did it in situ, I will have the gearbox out so should be easier, battery tray is cut out so should help.
Queer or summat?
Rack is going to be a bitch, box out will make life easier for sure. I would go to ABY ECU . More expensive than the dizzy setup but less pissing about once it's installed and more reliable long term
From the looks of Alberts dyno chart you shouldn't loose much if any response
Poly bush everything, makes a huge difference. Unplugging the N75 will improve your driving, help you learn to carry more speed

Thanks for the sanity check
Would you make a COP loom like your current one but with long wires for ecu coil signal and dizzy hall or whatever you do with the coil?
I've done the pin swap and COP conversion recently, I can send you the print outs of the ECU pin swap and wiring if you want Definitely do it if you want PRJ to map it cos he won't do 3Bs now.
That would be great John! I cant get an answer from PRJ about a UK visit, so am going to try use VES Sport, local to me and they used to map S2/RS2s (mostly newer stuff now though).
Dae ye ken the coast o chengin yer name by yon Deed Poll ? He willna be waistin eny o his bawbees oan the like o that ma cretur ! -- naw naw -- its himsell wull jist keep drip feedin the braw beastie wi his spare pennies an keepin his ain haunle !
I'm interested in VES sport as well. How much have you interrogated them about what they do with s2s?
Anyway of us checking what they actually do in the ECU incase they just do daft stuff like bleed valve and ramp up fuel pressure?
Only a brief phone chat so far to confirm he maps them, I called today when I was at work but he was on the dyno and I never got a chance to call back. I will give him a call tomorrow and report back.
Last time I called he said he used to map S2s and RS2s, just not any recently, he was happy with different turbos injectors etc, so not just generic stg 1 remaps.

I called VES Sport today, they are no longer mapping S2s on motronic due emulator hassles. He said he prefers to map on stand alone with heavily modded S2s as there is better resolution.
I called Mark at Automark, he was most helpful, he will map 3B or ABY, he has done up to 700bhp on the dizzy, but says cop is better. He will use mechanical boost or electronic boost controller. If going COP he advised using new standard S2 coils as they will do another 100k. If using TFSI coils he does not adjust the dwell. Stock MAF is to be on the pressure side between the intercooler and the intake manifold.
Ordered a downpipe from Danny at DNA, he does VEMS ecus and maps them.
