custom made by a local grinder (was cheaper than parts from ebay etc)

Well I never knew that the MC bottom end is that strong, was expecting to have to change the rods in mine, shalt bother now. Did you make the exhaust manifold yourself? If so would you be interested in making another and how much would it cost?

Edit- Just relised that the EM you bulit would be no good to me as I'm using a B2 body

This has got to be one of the most interesting projects on here.

HI there...did some testing and atm what i'm concerned - oil pressure drops on acceleration...noticed this with the old setup too...I'm using AAN oil pan ( alu), but the oil pick up has plastic thingy from simple NG motor...do you have any pic or know, if 20vt engines additional use some different plastic cover/anything for oil pickup? Do you get this problem too? I get oil press like 4bar, but even in 3rd when WOT, it drops to 2,5bar or so and slowly comes back to where it was...tried fillin oil above MAX, no changes

                          thanks!

                            Nice work you have done.

With regard to oil pressure. I recently bought an oil filter that resulted in my pressure dropping dramatically. Bought another brand of oil filter (the one I normally use) and it was back to normal.

                            Worth a try.

Secondly I did not see a oil cooler fitted. So if it's there and a I missed seeing it, OK, but otherwise best fit one.

thanks for reply, but my problem is related with acceleration... idle/cruise oil press is topnotch...and yes, i have aftermarket oil cooler - temps are now well controled
