well your be able to change that soon enough and get a lockable diff in there

i dont care!!
i just want any diff in there to get it moving, although locking would be best............!

right then, i collected a couple of things today:
let me see, complete S2 rear end
locking diff
driveshafts
hubs
Weitec coilovers (origionaly off this very car, coming home to roost lol)
propshaft
all nuts and bolts to make it fit etc
complete 7a engine with head lifted off.... if you get what i mean
i decided since id been on the road since 6am id drop all the gear back in my workshop and sod off home early for a change
but i just couldnt do it lol
so i stripped the rear axle and got my old coilovers ready for media blasting before they get powdercoated with a particular colour scheme that is top secret
then i got even more bored and needed to scratch an itch ive been lying awake for weeks thinking about:
how much clearance will i have with a SUMP on the engine?????
**** it....... lol
so i swopped the motors over, bolted the g/box up and put it in the final resting position using B3 mounts instead of C4, and i am more happy with the B3 items.
some pics for you `orrible lot to mull over
im still not 100% happy though as id like it another 20mm further back, but would need to re-think my chassis mounts....hmm.... what to do
anyway, enough ********, pics time!
tomorow i will be bolting up all 4 corners on the suspension
cant wait, simple things please simple minds lol

was thinking single piece prop too......... we will see what happens as its only extra £30 or so than having prop shortened, re-welded and balanced
wheels, i need some wheels!
im going to a couple of breakers tomorow to see if theres any 16" steels
although i really really like standard RS4 18`s........ but then its not a sleeper if its stanced to death is it...... hmmmmmmmm

aye Sam, and pi55rats/A4`s run 16" steels
i would like 17" steels, maby mercs run them?!
i will be getting them banded to 9" rears, and as you say........ running Colway full race "square" intermediates like on all my cosworths and mk2 escorts

unfortunatly,
i also have an Rs4 itch than needs a good scratch........................................... ....................
i can see this "sleeper" turning into a full RS4 rep, trouble is i keep buying RS4 bodypannels and bumpers, then selling them as i change my mind.........
im sorry but this is just pure intense pleasure for me it really is!
(but the endines sound like a clapped out old washing machine )
