My AAN 2.2 20v Turbo B5 A4 Avant build

Andy, ive bought a top locking pinchbolt for the track rod end on my A4 and a lower rear camber adjust bolt/washer/nut so i know the costs lol

i am expecting a £150-200 bill but i need them so no point being tight

havent done owt on the car today realy,

was given a set of poly bushes for free today after ordering my escort leaf bushes typical!!! (they were from cavalier turbo suspension somewhere and would be perfect, and a set of eccentric adjustable ones as they were given too)

made up some more templates for the chassis mounts, wasnt happy with the angles of the B3/4 ones i had done so going total one off and piece of mind, these are getting done on friday when im down in the area, will be collecting the gas bottle and MIG wire saturday so i can crack on sunday morning, the car will be rolling on some sort of wheels by then....... dunno what lol

and i looked at those wheels, but need them posted to essex, and none of the local breakers have any 16`s, only 15`s

RS4 wheels seem hard to find, £450 for a set of poor condition soft cast ones!!!

**** it, will just bolt some 15" steels on to move it i think, get the quattro out then stick the A4 back on stands so dont really matter for now.

getting bored of not having anything to do on the car............
that will all change at the weekend hopefuly, then full steam ahead with mounting the engine

gearbox brackets are gonna be fun to fab up, they are needing made from non standard mount points...... maby use the calibra bushes i was given today
get the pallets out of the way once engine is bolted to chassis so i have more vision of the job in hand i guess
few ideas i can elaborate on, will work something out.

p.s Sam, a 16" Audi/VW/Skoda/Mondeo/Focus rim is minimum of £30 down here sadly

bought gas........ yay!

secured a set of 16" wheels from my main parts supplier (Acidburn, cheers buddy!)

secured a set of complete front struts from my........... see above lol!

hopefuly get engine mounts welded up so i can move the damn thing then get on with mounting the seat, make brake lines and buy a standard front pannel so i can moch uo the hoses once engines in

DO NOT FORGET TO WELD CENTRE DIFF................. <---------- will do this when i pull engine out to make mounts etc

**AHEM, id like to make an announcment**

as of this weekend the project is on hold until further notice due to CSA deciding to review my case and take more money from me

the B4 quattro saloon will also have to go, probebly be stripped as nobody wanted to buy it last time

im also giving up my garage as soon as possible and this might mean selling everything i own, but not the A4 or bits that are for the build i.e big turbos, engines etc

no more purchases for the car for approx 4 or 5 months due to this serious drain in my pocket

went to collect my cut metal and was told its gonna be 2 weeks!!! lad is on holiday..........
i "expressed my displeasure the only way i know how, it didnt go down well but we will see what happens next week

i am NOT impressed about this, was hoping to get the engine mounted and rolled out into the sunday sunshine for a few naked snaps

as long as you have £50 a week left they will take what they want (doesnt matter about your living expenses etc)
