A4 was the least of my worrys

i needed to secure a roof over my head and food on the table

never mind, i got delt a bad set of cards but a couple of years should sort things out hopefuly

its been.,.,.,.,.,.,.,., emotional

no Peter, everything is being sold

all my engines, parts, the saloon, B4 and B5 parts

the lot

need some time away from things for a bit

i will be listing everything as and when but they are going ASAP when i get the strength to open the doors and list everything

BUT on the up side...........

when the scrap man turned up, he blew a hose on the HIAB so couldnt pick the A4 up!
so he just took all my old axles/disks etc and other bits what are of no use to anyone

the A4 will be staying with me and not being sold

i will just build another motor in due time when i have the mental strength.

engine mounts are welded in place too, all hard work done, just ready for final assembly, in a few years

well........ feeling a bit better in myself with life not that you lot are interested

but today this happened:

Engine and chassis are now one and the same!

hope to get a few runs in at GTi on the old standard ish AAN spec with RWD

just need to get a prop made and we are nearly there fabrication wise for this year

had a hard few months, nothing abusive please

i need to smile and pick myself up mate,

the A4 is giving me that and will be back on with it on a daily basis again, getting the engine mounted was a big hurdle

next up is the exhaust manifold, turbo and exhaust and prop.

nothing else to fabricate realy this year

well, no garage after this month so i pulled my finger out while ive had no internet for the last 4 weeks since i moved house

today and yesterday i put the coilovers on, bolted up all the rear suspension, diff mount/bolts, rear prop, all suspension, front coilovers, new top mounts, RS4 brakes, modded front and rear geometry ( ) ALL bodywork refitted and decided its all going in the bin lol

need to make complete exhaust from the head to turbo and turbo back

fit standard RS4 front pannel and crossmember

fit solid front subframe mounts as my cradle is now in 2 halfs

( car was a 100% bare shell 2 months ago ready for the crusher!)






my remote PAS system has had issues lol ( no PAS at all now, but will be running elec PAS in a few months before im on the road.)

when i took the new pic, it still needs dropped down 24mm from this point, i was playing with manifolds

I tell you what though,
i have a LOT of room for big front mount intercooler and front mounted rad, shocked at how much space there is now!

and enough room for a KKK24 AND a GT40R...... but thats another brainstorm i was thinking about with some spares i had lying about today mocking up but dont tell anyone........ shhhhhhhhhh

Will you ever be able to join the two half subframes again, am I needlessly worried about less strength there?

Irish, the solid mounts make it a solid construction with no flex so the suspension components have GEO adjustment capability with no flex/movement.
